This disclaimer applies to services, information and materials provided by THE EDUCATION GROUP (OXFORD) LTD (Company No. 10770525), registered in England & Wales, registered office 1 Grace House, Bessborough Road, Harrow, England, HA1 3EX (“TEGO”, “we”, “us”, “our”). TEGO provides education and education-related support services only.
No University / Regulator Status
TEGO is not a university, regulator, government authority, professional licensing body, or immigration adviser. Unless expressly confirmed in writing, TEGO does not award regulated qualifications and does not act as an awarding organisation.
No Guarantees / Outcomes
All courses, learning support, guidance and information are provided on a best-efforts basis and do not constitute a guarantee of: admission, credit transfer, recognition, equivalency, accreditation acceptance, professional membership/licensing, employment outcomes, grades, assessment results, progression, timelines, or any specific learner outcome. Decisions relating to assessments, awards, certification, verification or progression may be made by third parties and remain outside TEGO’s control.
Third-Party Awarding Bodies, Platforms & Decisions
Where a programme involves an external awarding organisation, examination platform, proctoring service, partner institution or other third party, you acknowledge that:
- their terms and procedures may apply; and
- TEGO is not responsible for third-party decisions, processing times, changes, suspensions, technical failures, refusal, withdrawal or outcomes.
Website / Online Content
Website pages, prospectuses, brochures, social media content, learning platform pages and general communications are provided for general information only. While reasonable care is taken, TEGO does not warrant that any content is complete, current, error-free, uninterrupted or suitable for your particular purpose. You should rely only on the final written enrolment documentation, course documents and written confirmations issued by TEGO, and you must independently verify any external acceptance requirements (e.g., employer/university/professional body).
No Legal, Immigration, Financial or Professional Advice
Nothing provided by TEGO (including in emails, messages, calls, webinars, marketing materials, website content or learning resources) constitutes legal, immigration, financial, tax, investment, regulatory or professional advice. You should obtain independent advice where required.
Separate Legal Entities / No Group Liability
Any entities that may be described as “partners”, “affiliates”, “associated entities” or similar (including those with similar branding, shared communication channels, addresses, or overseas offices) are separate and independent legal entities. No such entity has authority to bind TEGO, and TEGO does not accept responsibility or liability for the acts, omissions, services, representations or obligations of any other entity or person unless expressly agreed in a written contract signed by TEGO.
Limitation of Liability (Where Law Allows)
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, TEGO shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss, loss of opportunity, loss of earnings/income, loss of academic progression, reputational damage, delay, inconvenience or adverse outcome arising from use of our services or reliance on information. Subject to non-excludable legal rights, TEGO’s total aggregate liability (if any) arising out of or in connection with a specific service is limited to the fees actually paid to TEGO for that service.
No Personal Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, no director, officer, employee, tutor, assessor, consultant, contractor, shareholder or agent of TEGO accepts personal liability to any learner, client or third party.
Technology, Security & Availability
Online delivery, portals and digital services may be updated, suspended, interrupted or affected by maintenance, outages, cyber incidents, third-party platform issues or internet connectivity. TEGO does not guarantee uninterrupted availability and is not responsible for issues beyond its reasonable control.
Academic Integrity & Learner Responsibility
You are responsible for providing accurate information and complying with academic integrity rules and third-party assessment requirements. TEGO may rely on information you provide and is not responsible for outcomes arising from inaccurate, incomplete, misleading or forged information.
Intellectual Property
All TEGO learning materials, course content and resources are protected by intellectual property laws and are licensed for your personal, non-commercial educational use only. Unauthorised copying, sharing, resale, distribution, publication or use to train AI systems is prohibited.
Compliance (AML/CTF/Sanctions)
TEGO may request identification and conduct checks and may suspend, refuse, delay, return or report payments or activity where required or permitted by UK anti-money laundering, counter-terrorist financing and sanctions laws and guidance. TEGO accepts no liability for actions taken to comply with legal obligations.
Statutory Rights
Nothing in this disclaimer excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited, including liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, wilful misconduct, or death or personal injury caused by negligence where applicable.
Governing Law
This disclaimer and all disputes or claims arising from it (including non-contractual disputes) are governed by the laws of England & Wales, and the courts of England & Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to TEGO’s right to seek relief in any competent jurisdiction where necessary to protect or enforce its rights.
